This place happened to be along the route of one of my morning runs, so after my work out, I stopped by for a sweet treat to replenish some glucose. The place was peaceful and empty in the morning around 9 when I went. For just over $6, I got a small sized, nondairy soft serve with watermelon and pink lemonade sorbet. It was very refreshing and perfect on a warm summer day! There were plenty of seats plus free WiFi, so I imagine it's a nice place to hang out or get some work done too!
Never disappoints. This was my first time getting a smoothie, cause I always get the maple butter walnut. Pretty good!
Food service and ambiance are top tier!!!! Make sure to get the pistachios ice cream! One of the only places that actually put a decent amount of pistachios in their ice cream! Also calorie friendly!!!
You can never go wrong with JP Licks. Monthly flavors are fun and tasty (not AS quirky and unique as Salt and Straw). This location is a converted firehouse (take a peek around and you may see the details) and has a lot of fun local art on the walls that are sometimes for display. Service is generally quick, even when there are wildly long lines.
Great local business. Love the ice cream and friendly service. You can get freshly made ice cream or a sundae made to order. Good variety of flavors and of course seasonal pumpkin and apple fall flavors. Don't forget ice cream cakes for birthdays or parties. Shakes are good as well.
Tons of seats indoors and out. Tasty ice cream treats and cool art. I was too full from dinner but took a pint and cones to go.
Wow! We came to Boston on an overnight and discovered this place and it is absolutely devine! There are tons of ice cream options (boozy or not), along with other desserts, toppings and milkshake options! The service was a bit slow and there isn't a ton of inside seating, but there are lots of tables outside and free parking ! The inside of the place is so cool, lots of large decorations and options of other merch (shirts, cups, etc)! I'd definitely come back next time I'm in town !
Amazing ice-cream, huge servings and such friendly staff! Was so overwhelmed by the menu; they let me try five different flavors and were so accommodating! Will be back. :)
